Alive
Ephesians 2:4-5 says,
"But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ--by grace you have been saved..."
Alive is our community of teens, pre-teens and their parent(s) in Metro Life Church who desire to discover the depth of what being born again means and to awaken to an authentic, God-glorifying walk with Jesus Christ. We are eager to see the bones and flesh of every young person "rattled" by the Spirit of God, supplying these bones with sinews and flesh, that they might live to the glory of God (Ezekiel 37).
While 12-18 years of age is the primary age range, it is not exclusively. Older singles with a heart ot serve those a few years behind them will benefit, as will the parents of Alive youth.
Alive is our bi-weekly corporate meeting and it provides a time for teaching, worship and fellowship. It typically takes place on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 7:00pm in the chapel.
Alive also gathers yearly for youth camp. This year's Alive youth camp will take place June 25-28 and will be a gathering of youth from several churches in Sovereign Grace Ministries. For more information or to register, check out the Alive Camp website.
