Home Groups
The Christian life was designed by God to be lived out in community. This fundamental conviction comes from verses like Hebrews 10:24-25,
"And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near."
It is all too easy for us to forsake gathering together. And yet we firmly believe that spiritual maturity cannot take place aside from gospel community. Therefore our home groups are just one of the ways we seek to build this gospel community and apply verses like the one above.
Home Groups are small groups in Metro Life Church aimed at personal sanctification, fellowship, mutual care, and the ministry of the Holy Spirit. The primary material used in these small groups to accomplish these aims is the Sunday message.
