About us...
In April of 1985, a small group of people began to meet together in the home of Danny and Melodye Jones to pray for the establishment of a New Testament Church. Their heart cry was for biblical relationships, a lifestyle that declared and demonstrated the glorious truth of the New Covenant. Those initial home gatherings grew to become what now is known as Metro Life Church.
In 1987, the church invited the oversight of an organization known as Sovereign Grace Ministries. This family of churches holds to our primary purpose of establishing and nurturing local churches for God's glory. It is with and through this association with other churches that Metro Life Church is able to fulfill its vision to obey the Great Commission.
A Church in Atlanta, Georgia and three in Florida , St. Petersburg, Miami, and
 Gainesville are the fruit of this great mission. As members grow and mature in the Lord, it is their personal sense of destiny to be active in seeing the vision become a reality by either sending others on church planting ventures or by going themselves.
