Metro Life Church’s Leadership Team
The local leadership of Metro Life Church is composed of spiritually gifted men who, by the grace of God, have been trained and mentored through years of experience to oversee the life and mission of this fellowship. Those raised up to serve in this capacity have been recognized locally by the “fruit of their labor,” the church itself, and extra-locally by the Sovereign Grace Ministries apostolic team. They have demonstrated the proven character, spiritual maturity, calling, commission and anointing that qualifies them for leadership.
These men consider it a deep and humbling privilege to lay down their lives in service to this church. Their desire is that every member might come to maturity in Christ and bear lasting fruit for God. It is their passion that every believer be fully equipped for the work of service that they are called to, fulfilling their destiny in Him in order that they might stand before God and hear Him say, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
 Danny Jones
Danny is Metro’s Senior Pastor. He founded the church in 1985, beginning as a prayer meeting of several families in his home. Having served as a pastor for eleven years in three different churches, he gathered with his family and friends to seek for New Testament reality-wholehearted commitment to the local church, genuine friendships, and a biblical lifestyle. Danny has the privilege of guiding our overall mission as a church in reaching Central Florida and beyond with the Gospel. He leads our pastoral team here locally and also travels to our related Sovereign Grace Ministries churches in Florida and the Caribbean, caring for their pastoral teams. Married over 30 years, Melodye and Danny have four children, two of which are married and now have children of their own. e-mail Danny Jones
 Benny Phillips
Benny is the Executive Pastor at Metro, responsible for the local ministry here in Orlando. Benny also gives pastoral care in addition to and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the church. Benny gives oversight to the Homeschool Support Groups and School of the Word which is our ongoing teaching ministry for Metro members. Prior to coming to Orlando, Benny served as a senior pastor at our related church in Fairfax, Virginia. They have seven children, three of which are married and now have children of their own. e-mail Benny Phillips
 Mike Nash
Mike gives pastoral care to several of Metro’s homegroups. He is also responsible for our Children’s Ministry. Mike leads the biblical counseling and prayer ministries, including weekly prayer meetings at the building both on Wednesday mornings (6:30 am) and Sunday mornings (9:00 am). He also leads our Foundations Series (for new members) and our singles ministry, called Undivided, which meets the fourth Saturday of each month.  Todd Twining
Todd leads our worship ministries, including music, drama, audio, and visual media. He also provides oversight to our Prophecy Team, Healing Team, and Evangelism and Alpha outreaches. He and his wife, Michelle, were married in 1994 and have served together locally and internationally in evangelism and outreach. Todd graduated from Sovereign Grace Ministries Pastors’ College in Gaithersburg, Maryland before joining the Metro staff in June of 2002. Todd and Michelle have two sons. e-mail Todd Twining
 Chip Chew
Chip is Metro’s Administrator and business manager and he has served faithfully since 1988. He also oversees various service ministries and gives care to several homegroups within the church. He led the charge in building our permanent facility. He and Holly have three children. e-mail Chip Chew
