The latest on 'Life at Metro'

We have a stunningly cosmic picture of Jesus Christ in the Scriptures. Colossians 1:15-20 makes clear that he is Lord of Creation; he's the goal of all of life, the Head of the Chuch, and the Lord of the New Creation. In short form, Jesus is everything.

So I've been thinking about the times of worship at the Enduring Love Marriage Retreat, and then during our Sunday morning service. I could be wrong in my impression, but in both places there seemed to be a more tangible awareness of the presence of God.

I hope you are having a great start to your week. In light of Sunday's overview of the Book of Colossians, my prayer that the sufficiency of Christ is meeting you day-to-day.
