An Update On Your Generosity

Thank You For Your Generosity Sky Lines - Subtitle

Recently we have sought to bring you regular updates on the financial health of the church.  This update is related to our general giving fund (often referred to as tithes, or offering) through the first 5 months of 2021.

First of all, thank you for your giving and partnership in the mission we’ve been called to as a local church.

We are currently operating at a cumulative 13% reduction of what we anticipated being able to do at this point in the year.  You’ll notice on the chart provided that this has meant sporadic monthly giving for us to base any plans on, we’ve been making adjustments as needed to expenses. We’re grateful to say; this is in contrast to the overall 40% decline in giving we saw at one point (in January) of this year.

Monthly Operating Budget and Actual Generosity

“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, [20] but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. - Matthew 6:19–21

We recently announced a need for a $40,000 technical renovation in our chapel - we don't know about 'moths and rust' but, things certainly aren't working as they should in that room and it needs to be completely redone.  Our chapel is one of the most used in our facility and is often made available to our community for a variety of gatherings so we consider this a 'mission critical' space in our facility.  Should you desire to give directly toward that, please do so here and add the note on your gift that it is for the 'chapel'.

You can also establish regularly recurring gifts here as well.

Thank you for prayerfully and faithfully participating in helping our community experience transformed lives through Jesus Christ!
