Good Morning Friends!
Do you have hope this morning? I pray you do, because we have every reason too! Consider the power of these words from Hebrews 6:17-19:
“So when God desired to show more convincingly to the heirs of the promise the unchangeable character of his purpose, he guaranteed it with an oath, so that by two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to hold fast to the hope set before us. We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters into the inner place behind the curtain…”
Commenting on this passage John Piper said,
"How encouraged does God want us to feel? Hebrews 6:18 says, "Strong encouragement!" Note the word! Preach this to yourself. God wants me to have strong encouragement!"
Strong encouragement, friends! Remember this week that if you have the forgiveness of all your sins you have favor with God! So hope, and hope with great rejoicing!
