A Mid-Year Word of Thanks
As we reach the middle of the year, we want to pause and say thank you.
The financial health of a church is never just about numbers. It reflects the quiet, steady faithfulness of God’s people. Every gift represents worship, sacrifice, trust, and shared commitment to the work God has called us to as a church.
We are encouraged by the generosity that Metro Life Church has shown in the first half of 2026. We are also paying close attention to rising expenses that affect the ongoing work of ministry. Like many households, the church is feeling the pressure of costs that are difficult to control.
So this update comes with both gratitude and honesty. God has been kind. You have been faithful. And we want to continue stewarding the resources entrusted to us with care, wisdom, and restraint.

Quarterly Financial Update
Greetings, Metro Life Church!
As we move toward the middle of the year, I want to take a moment to say thank you.
Your faithful generosity has helped Metro Life Church remain in a steady financial position.
Through the first half of the year, giving has, on average, come in ahead of our budget, and we are deeply grateful. I know every gift represents trust, sacrifice, worship, and a commitment to the work God has called us to as a church.
Our confidence rests in the truth that God is the source of every provision we receive. He provides for His church, and one of the ways He does that is through the faithful generosity of His people.
I also want to keep you aware of a challenge we are watching closely. Like many households, the church is experiencing increased expenses in areas that are difficult to control. Some of these are building-related costs, insurance, utilities, repairs, maintenance, and other operating expenses. We are reviewing these carefully, making adjustments where we can, and continuing to steward the church's resources well.
So, the picture is both encouraging and sobering.
- Giving has been strong, and we are thankful.
- Expenses have also increased, and we are paying close attention.
Thank you for continuing to give joyfully and faithfully. Your generosity blesses others, strengthens the ministry that the church is uniquely called to provide, and reflects the grace we have received from the Lord.
