ALIVE BAKE SALE
Sunday, November 18, before and after the Service// You will have the perfect opportunity to serve the Alive Youth Ministry and your stomach at the same time! HOME TOWNE SUITES OUTREACH - Thanksgiving Dinner
Sunday, November 18, 3:30 p.m. // Thanksgiving at Home Towne Suites
Join us on as we serve a Thanksgiving dinner to those in need // Turkey and ham will be provided //  Sign up this Sunday in the lobby to bring sides, drinks or desserts //  Men's clothing and toiletries are needed //  Meet at the church building, on Sunday the 18th, at 3:30 to help load donations and to pray prior to departure

 

CHRISTMAS CHURCH DECORATING
Sunday, November 25, after the Service// ‘Oh come, let us….’ fellowship and decorate the church for the Christmas season // Pizzaand refreshment will be served // Sign up at the Welcome Center

 

CHRISTIAN HELP’S DOVE TREE
You might notice a tree in our lobby during the month of November through December 4th. This tree is special because hanging on its branches are gift ideas for little boys and girls within our community. Many families will not be able to afford gifts for their children this year but we can make a difference. Take a card from the tree, purchase the gift, and bring it back before December 4th. All presents will be collected and offered to families within our own community. Please consider helping out this great ministry!

 

ART FOR AND FROM GOD
Saturday, December 8, 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. // Help us celebrate the gifts God has given Metro Life Church members at Art For and From God, Metro’s very own Art Show! // Did your heart start beating faster because YOU have artwork you would like to display? You’re invited! We are opening the Art Show to people with artwork of virtually any kind. Painters, sculptures, photographers, authors, musicians, textile crafters, knitters… we’re open to anyone with mature art to display and sell—just in time for Christmas gifts! David & Allison Belanger’s – They are going to court in January to determine Permanent Custody for their granddaughter.

HEARING THE HOLY SPIRIT WORKSHOP
Saturday, November 17, 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. // Join Darin Slack as he continues with these important opportunities to grow in hearing and responding to the Holy Spirit in our lives // Join us in the chapel as we will experience various equipping exercises and faith-building training in the gifts as we serve one another, the church, and His purpose in our lives. Bring your Bible, a friend, and your faith!

 

ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE (ESL) CLASS
Wednesdays, 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. // We believe this is a way we can serve our community in a way that can transform their lives. // We need volunteers, if you would like to help please contact Cristian Moscoso at (407) 949-7672  // You do not need to be bilingual or to have experience in order to serve.


HOME TOWNE SUITES OUTREACH
Every 3rd Sunday of the month a group of volunteers gather to serve a meal to the residents of Home Towne Suites in Casselberry // Please consider volunteering to serve food and have conversation with friends and strangers alike // Volunteers should meet at 3:30pm in the church parking lot to help load the church trailer and carpool over together // We hope to see you out there! CALLING ALL SERVANTS
As the ministries, function and events of the church increase we are finding the ever present need to increase our volunteer base. These opportunities are linked not only to member initiatives but also to community outreach. In order to serve these events well we need your help and participation. Examples of needs are:

  • Usher
  • Audio/Visual
  • Chair Crew
  • Truth Quest
  • Event set-up/Breakdown
  • Hospitality
  • Coffee Bar
  • Infant Suite

And more..... We need you! Should you desire to serve in one of these ways please sign up at the front desk today indicating the area that you could be most effective and use your gifts.  "...from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love." Ephesians 4:16

For safety precaution, please refrain during the service from sitting along the back wall and step exits in back of the auditorium. When sitting in these areas one could pose a potential risk in case of emergency or evacuation. These areas are for entrance and exiting only. Thank you for your help.
