FATHER’S LOVE PROPHETIC CONFERENCE
May 3 through 4, Friday, 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. to Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. // Join us at this FREE event, as we gather for our 3rd Annual Prophetic Conference to experience the gifts of the Holy Spirit, especially prophecy, saturated in the Father’s Love for us as adopted sons and daughters. // Sign-up is OPEN

 

MEN’S BREAKFAST – Worship as Warfare
Saturday, May 11, 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. // Metro Men,  join us for breakfast and fellowship in the Chapel.  Our topic is "Worship as warfare."  As guys, we love work as worship, we like sports and activities, but we are often uncomfortable raising our hands as swords for His glory.  Join us as we discuss the Spirit of David and how our worship moves the heavens.  Breakfast will be glorious and the flame of fellowship hot.  Bring a friend, your bible, and an appetite for more of Jesus.  Contact Eddie Needham for more information.

 

HOME TOWNE SUITES OUTREACH
Sunday, May 19, 3:30 p.m. // Every 3rd Sunday of the month a group of volunteers gather to serve a meal to the residence of Home Towne Suites in Casselberry // Please consider volunteering to serve food and have conversation with friends and strangers alike // Volunteers should meet at 3:30pm in the church parking lot to help load the church trailer and carpool over together // We hope to see you out there! // If you have any questions you can reach out to Shane

 

NEIGHBOR TO NEIGHBOR
Saturday, May 25, 8:00 a.m. // Join us as we go into the community to serve  single mothers, the elderly and some of our ministry partners by taking care of lawn work, repairs and general service needs // It’s an incredible opportunity to show the love of Christ and experience meaningful fellowship at the same time // Additional details and registration is online

 

METRO YOUNG ADULTS
Tuesday, May 28, 7:00 p.m. // Have you ever hoped for a place where you can develop your faith as well as grow through the variety of seasons that God is calling you to? // Join us Metro Young Adults, every 4th Tuesday of the month // Our aim is that as we transition through the college years and then into our careers, family life, etc. that we are being discipled and learning to disciple others as we are sent out on our mission fields.

 

HEARING & MINISTERING IN THE HOLY SPIRIT WORKSHOP
Monday, June 3, 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. // Join Darin Slack as he continues with these important opportunities to grow in hearing, responding, and ministering in the Holy Spirit // For those interested in joining the Sunday Service Ministry Team, this meeting is your next step // Join us in the chapel for faith-building ministry training with various equipping exercises in the gifts as we serve one another, the church, and His purpose in our lives // Bring your Bible, a friend, and your faith!

 

VBS – In The Wild
June 17 through 21, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. // Join us at In the Wild™ for a week of amazing encounters with Jesus. Kids will begin each day at Panoramic Point. From there, kids will gather at the Watering Hole where they will be equipped to dig deep into God’s Word. Kids will learn that Jesus Christ is the Messiah, the Son of God, and by believing, we can have life in His name. Each day kids will make crafts, play fun games, enjoy tasty snacks, sing cool songs, and learn about missions. Registration for students entering 1st grade through entering 5th opens on Easter Sunday. Cost is $10 per child.

  

The building will be closed Monday, May 27 to celebrate Memorial Day!  Have a blessed day!

Serving Opportunities

CALLING ALL SERVANTS
As the ministries, function and events of the church increase we are finding the ever present need to increase our volunteer base. These opportunities are linked not only to member initiatives but also to community outreach. In order to serve these events well we need your help and participation. Examples of needs are:

  • Usher
  • Audio/Visual
  • Chair Crew
  • Truth Quest
  • Event set-up/Breakdown
  • Hospitality
  • Coffee Bar
  • Infant Suite

And more..... We need you! Should you desire to serve in one of these ways please sign up at the front desk today indicating the area that you could be most effective and use your gifts.  "...from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love." Ephesians 4:16

MOMMY/BABY ROOM VOLUNTEERS
We are in need of volunteers to serve the mom’s during Sunday Service // This includes set-up and serving mom’s with their baby, one Sunday every other month // If you are interested, please contact Shawnie McGahey at 407-925-7201.
