Community Groups: Spring Term
At Metro Life Church we are a church OF Community Groups, not just a church with Community Groups. We consider Community Groups an essential part of church life. We desire that every member of Metro Life Church know the great benefit there is to living life in Community. Our Community Groups will be starting again in January, please go to metrolife.org/community to sign up for a Community Group this Spring Term!”

Often during the week, I'll find myself sitting in Chris' office for longer than I intended to. What was supposed to be a quick chat about how a new season of a children's show introduced the concept of same-sex couples to my 6 and 2-year-old instead led into an hour-long conversation about parenting in our culture.
Or there was that time when I was late to a meeting because Chris and I got lost in a conversation about how women have been hindered in church culture, how it harms the entire church, and how we can empower women moving forward.
Your takeaway from all of this might be that I need to spend less time in Chris' office. Stop talking, close his office door, and get back to work.
Instead, I want to invite you in.
Men's Breakfast

Kelly Kester will be leading our conversation. Valentine's Day will be quickly approaching, and as we love our wives and family, so we turn our hearts in adoration toward God. Initial VBS Team Planning and Information Meeting

Come join us as we reveal the theme for our 2023 VBS! We will need volunteers to help before the event, behind the scenes and directly with the children the week of VBS. This meeting will be about forming teams for the different areas. Lunch At The Park
Every fourth Sunday of the month until October 22, 2023
12:00pm – 3:00pm

Young Adults and Young Families join us every 4th Sunday for lunch in the park. All you need to do is pack a lunch and bring yourself! We will leave following the Sunday services and head to Secret Lake Park or Red Bug Park depending on the month. If you like, bring a game or activity to play with others.
Kids are welcome to come and there are playgrounds at both parks. We will alternate locations each month.
Church Wide Garage Sale

We will be holding our first Garage Sale to benefit several ministries within Metro Life Church. Some examples would be to help offset the cost of the upcoming Alive Summer Camp registrations and help fund Commission 127. We have a lot of furniture, fixtures, and equipment that we will be clearing out, but we can always use more. If you have items in good condition and of some value, we would be interested. Please bring them to the church prior to the garage sale between the dates of February 23 and March 2. Also, if you would like to participate in helping, we could use your help. Please let Lisa know at the church office. Thank you!
Golf Scramble At Mayfair Country Club

Location: 3536 Country Club Rd, Sanford, FL 32773
Saturday, March 18, 7 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. // Come out for a fun time at the links of the Mayfair Country Club in Sanford! Teams of 4 will compete in a Best Ball Scramble Tournament with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. The cost is $75 per person, which includes the greens and cart fees, a bucket of balls for the driving range prior to play, and lunch. Lunch will be provided during a time of fellowship after the tournament concludes where we will award various prizes for the winning teams and players. There will be more updates as we get closer to the day of the event so be on the lookout!
