Wednesdays, once a month through November 4 // Our next class is July 15 // Each month, Chris Jessee hosts the Acts 2 Dinner Experience, a shared meal designed to help our church family slow down, connect deeply, and grow in our understanding of the Spirit’s work among us. Around the table, we explore the spiritual gifts taught in Scripture and affirmed by Metro Life Church, reflect on how the Spirit equips every believer for life and ministry, and create space for prayer and encouragement in an atmosphere of genuine hospitality. Whether you are new to spiritual gifts or eager to grow in how you use them to serve others, this evening offers a thoughtful, accessible, and relational way to learn, ask questions, and build meaningful community. We’d love for you to pull up a chair. // There is a $20 charge per person. // Please register online by Wednesday, July 8, so we can prepare for you (12 people max). If you missed this class, please see the registration for the next one. Childcare is provided.
Upcoming Acts 2 Dinner Experience.........
BELONG: FIRST-STEPS TOWARD MEMBERSHIP
Sunday, July 19, 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. // Acts 2 paints a picture for us as believers of what it looks like to be a committed part of a local church. A collective of people who follow Jesus, we’re devoted to gathering together in community, serving one another’s needs, and growing in our faith through sound teaching. Take your first steps toward membership over lunch following our morning service. In our fragmenting world, Metro Life Church is a place to find common ground and a sense of belonging. Lunch and childcare are provided.
NEIGHBOR TO NEIGHBOR – School Edition
Saturday, August 1, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. // As local churches, our hearts are set on serving the community around us. One way we do this every year is by supporting our area schools by mulching, weeding, trimming, and completing various small projects on the school grounds. Many hands make light work! Won't you join us? Register through Church Center App.
Gathering regularly with other believers is one of the most meaningful ways we grow in our relationship with God. Take a step toward deeper connection this summer term (May - July). It’s not too late! Find your group: https://www.metrolife.org/church-life-community-groups
INTEREST IN LEADING A COMMUNITY GROUP?
Community Group leaders help create spaces for spiritual growth and meaningful connection. At Metro Life Church, we take this role seriously and have a process in place to equip and support those who feel called to lead. If you’re interested, please fill out our short online form. It includes key qualifications and expectations to help guide next steps. // We’re excited to explore this opportunity with you!

EQUIP: LEARNING TOGETHER, LEADING FAITHFULLY
At Metro Life Church, we desire to continually encourage and strengthen the men and women who care for, disciple, and serve our church family. On August 28–29, our leaders will gather for EQUIP with guest speaker Adam Erlichman, a pastor and author whose ministry focuses on discipleship, groups, volunteer development, and leadership development.
Church family, would you join us in praying that God would use this time to strengthen our leaders as they learn together, grow in their understanding of ministry, and consider how they can serve people well?
UPCOMING EVENTS:
Sunday, September 27, after the service until 2:00 p.m. // Join us in the chapel for an introduction to How to Read the Bible // Many people believe the Bible matters, yet they feel uncertain when they try to read it for themselves. This is an introduction to a practical 6-week Grow Class, where you will learn to understand Scripture, see how it leads us to Jesus, and bring God’s Word into everyday life. This Grow Class will help you move from uncertainty and inconsistency toward greater confidence, clarity, and faithful obedience. Please sign up through the Church Center App so we can plan for you. Childcare is provided.
