Belong: First-Steps Toward Membership
Sunday, May 3, 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. // Acts 2 paints a picture for us as believers of what it looks like to be a committed part of a local church. A collective of people who follow Jesus, we’re devoted to gathering together in community, serving one another’s needs and growing in our faith through sound teaching. Take your first steps toward membership over lunch following our morning service. In our fragmenting world, Metro Life Church is a place to find common ground and a sense of belonging. Lunch and childcare are provided.
National Day of Prayer
Thursday, May 7 // This year, in partnership with Community Church, we invite you to join us for a prayer breakfast at 7:15 am and a worship/prayer meeting at 6:30 pm. Both meetings will be at Community Church.
MOTHER’S DAY
Sunday, May 10 // Mom’s, we want to celebrate you on Mother’s Day! We’ve got a special treat and a family photo booth to honor you. We hope to see you there!
NEIGHBOR TO NEIGHBOR
Saturday, May 16, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. // Join for our largest Neighbor to Neighbor event ever! We will be serving homes in our community through yardwork alongside churches from Casselberry, Altamonte Springs, Winter Springs, and Fern Park. There will be several new surprises for the homeowners and the volunteers. Don’t miss out on this incredible event.
Acts 2 Dinner Experience
Wednesdays, once a month, through November 4 // Our next meeting is May 20 // Each month, Chris Jessee hosts the Acts 2 Dinner Experience, a shared meal designed to help our church family slow down, connect deeply, and grow in our understanding of the Spirit’s work among us. Around the table, we explore the spiritual gifts taught in Scripture and affirmed by Metro Life Church, reflect on how the Spirit equips every believer for life and ministry, and create space for prayer and encouragement in an atmosphere of genuine hospitality. Whether you are new to spiritual gifts or eager to grow in how you use them to serve others, this evening offers a thoughtful, accessible, and relational way to learn, ask questions, and build meaningful community. We’d love for you to pull up a chair. // There is a $20 charge per person (to cover dinner) // Please register online by Wednesday, May 13 so we can prepare for you (20 people max).

GRACE PARTNERSHIP MISSION TRIPS
Bolivia
Join us July 10-21, 2026 in Caranavi, Bolivia for an opportunity to see and serve in the work of Casa de Esperanza! We will spend a couple of days at Casa de Esperanza with the children and then go help in the construction of the new orphanage in El Beni. Cost of the trip is $1800 per person, yellow fever shots is required. Team size will be a maximum of 12, so register today!
Colombia
Come join us and immerse yourself this summer in Colombian culture and gospel mission. We will be serving alongside 2 churches. (Misión Rescate and a church plant Iglesia Cristiana Fidelidad a Su Palabra) in the coastal city of Barranquilla Colombia. You are a great fit for this trip if you have worked with teens or children, regularly serve in your local church and can be flexible with schedule changes. (The scope of the trip will take shape as we explore who is going and their unique gifts).You do NOT need to know Spanish for this trip. What you do need is a humble heart to serve and a passport!
