NIGHT OF WORSHIP

Friday, September 11 | 7:00 p.m. // As we head into the fall term, join us at Metro Life Church for a special night of worship! // Don’t miss this powerful evening as we come together to worship and prepare our hearts for the season ahead!

NEIGHBOR TO NEIGHBOR

Saturday, September 12, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. // On Saturday, Sept. 12, we will join more than 10 area churches and work with local city governments to provide lawn care and clean-up for homeowners experiencing varying hardships. What a beautiful, tangible way to be the hands and feet of Christ in our community. Of course, we need YOU to make this happen. Would you consider joining us? Kids are welcome!  Sign-up is coming soon!

BELONG: FIRST-STEPS TOWARD MEMBERSHIP

Sunday, September 13, 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. // Acts 2 paints a picture for us as believers of what it looks like to be a committed part of a local church. A collective of people who follow Jesus, we’re devoted to gathering together in community, serving one another’s needs, and growing in our faith through sound teaching. Take your first steps toward membership over lunch following our morning service. In our fragmenting world, Metro Life Church is a place to find common ground and a sense of belonging. Lunch and childcare are provided.

LUNCH & LEARN: Intro to How to Read the Bible

Sunday, September 27, after the service until 2:00 p.m. // Join us in the chapel for an introduction to How to Read the Bible. // Our Bible reading can grow dull. We lose motivation. We open a familiar passage and think, “I’ve read this a hundred times.” Some of us are newer to the faith and still wondering why we read Scripture at all. Most of us have felt that struggle. // This gathering is meant to help. We will ask what our motive should be as we come to the Word, and how we should approach it—not merely as a book for information, but as the living Word of God, the very words of God Himself. Together we will consider how Scripture itself views the written Word, and how we can grow in love for it. // This introduction is separate from the 6-week Grow Class. We will talk about that class, but you are not required to attend both. // Please sign up through the Church Center App so we can plan for you. Childcare is provided.

COMMUNITY GROUPS: Fall Term

We were created for community. Our Community Groups are a place to be encouraged, known, and rooted in God’s Word alongside others. Now is a great time to jump in! Sign-ups for the fall term (September - November) will open at the end of August. You can sign up here: https://www.metrolife.org/church-life-community-groups

INTEREST IN LEADING A COMMUNITY GROUP?

Community Group leaders help create spaces for spiritual growth and meaningful connection. At Metro Life Church, we take this role seriously and have a process in place to equip and support those who feel called to lead. If you’re interested, please fill out our short online form. It includes key qualifications and expectations to help guide next steps. // We’re excited to explore this opportunity with you!

GROW CLASS: How to Read the Bible

Sundays starting October 4 through November 8, 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. // Join us in the chapel // Many people believe the Bible matters, yet they feel uncertain when they try to read it for themselves. In this practical 6-week Grow Class, you will learn to understand Scripture, see how it leads us to Jesus, and bring God’s Word into everyday life. This Grow Class will help you move from uncertainty and inconsistency toward greater confidence, clarity, and faithful obedience. Please sign up through the Church Center App so we can plan for you.
