Music and Worship: Sunday, March 6th, 2016

Good Afternoon!

1 Chronicles 16:9 tells us to "Sing to Him; sing praises to Him; tell of all His wondrous works!" That is what we seek to do each Sunday as we gather as the body of Christ...to sing and tell of all His wondrous works, fixing our eyes on a holy God and uplifting one another through singing and hearing the preached Word.

Below is a recap of those songs which we used as part of our worship, along with some of the scriptures which inform them. We hope you are encouraged and uplifted as you listen and read below!

"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change." (James 1:17)

Here For You

“Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me, and whoever receives me, receives not me but him who sent me.” (Mark 9:37)

Waiting Here For You

"...so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him." (Hebrews 9:28)

Mercy Mercy

"...the LORD appeared to him from far away. I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you." (Jeremiah 31:3)

My Redeemer's Love

"No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8:37-39)
