Men's Breakfast - Guys in Community

Metro Men, join us as our own Eric Chin will be leading the discussion on Guys in Community. What does it look like for us to engage with those around us? How do we lead with love rather than our opinions? We'll have delicious fixin's with anointed bacon, potatoes, and other caloric goodness. Often during the week, I'll find myself sitting in Chris' office for longer than I intended to. What was supposed to be a quick chat about how a new season of a children's show introduced the concept of same-sex couples to my 6 and 2-year-old instead led into an hour-long conversation about parenting in our culture.
Or there was that time when I was late to a meeting because Chris and I got lost in a conversation about how women have been hindered in church culture, how it harms the entire church, and how we can empower women moving forward.
Your takeaway from all of this might be that I need to spend less time in Chris' office. Stop talking, close his office door, and get back to work.
Instead, I want to invite you in.
Belong: Metro Life Membership Class

Acts 2 paints a picture for us as believers of what it looks like to be a committed part of a local church. A collective of people who follow Jesus, we’re devoted to gathering together in community, serving one another’s needs and growing in our faith through sound teaching.
BELONG is a great way to get to know each other - and help you find your place at Metro Life Church.
In our time together we'll cover topics like:
- Gospel-Centered Culture: Truth - Safety - Time
- Why Belonging Matters.
- Who gives leadership throughout the church?
- Tour our facility to understand how it relates to our mission.
- A brief overview of Metro Life Church's doctrinal distinctives.
- God-glorifying Discipleship.
Our next group will meet Saturday morning, October 15th at 10am – refreshments will be served and childcare will be provided.
5th Sunday Women's Ministry Meeting

Christmas Decor Party!

Sunday, November 13, 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. // Join us for a Christmas Decorating Party! That’s right we will be asking for a number of you to SERVE by helping us decorate the church for the Christmas season. With enough of our friends and family helping we will be able to transform the lobby and the stage into a special place filled with cheer and celebration in a couple of hours. And then we can all join together in having pizza and Christmas cookies together immediately afterwards.
Light Up Metro Life Church

Join us as we gather to illuminate Metro Life and ring in the Christmas Season. More than just a night to get dressed up, or dessert reception. This is a night of envisioning through the New Year and reflecting on all that God has done through us.
There'll be some fun surprises along the way as well.
This church-wide fellowship event is for those 13 years old and up. Childcare is provided for those younger - they’ll have their own fun night!
Tickets are per individual - $10 with $25 max per family.
Community Group: Fall Term
At Metro Life Church we are a church OF Community Groups, not just a church with Community Groups. We consider Community Groups an essential part of church life. We desire that every member of Metro Life Church know the great benefit there is to living life in Community. Our Community Groups will be starting again in September, please go to metrolife.org/community to sign up for a Community Group this Fall Term!”
