OVERVIEW & ASSIGNMENTS:

WEEK 1: CAN I TRUST GOD?
 (Pre-read chapters 1 – 3)

In a world filled with anxiety and depression, how can I find my way to peace and freedom? Is it possible to place my trust in Jesus to such a degree that I can enjoy personal confidence even though the world around me is shaking?

WEEK 2: GOD’S SOVEREIGNTY OVER ALL THINGS
 (Pre-read chapters 4-7)

Though we live in a fallen world, that doesn’t mean it is beyond God’s control. Learning to trust Him in His sovereignty is not a one-and-done process, but a daily one.

WEEK 3: THE FOUNDATION OF GOD’S WISDOM AND LOVE
 (Pre-read chapters 8-10)

Our journey into trust is not baseless…hardly. Even though we don’t see or understand the “whys” or “hows,” the wisdom and love of God will win the day in our lives as we grow in our knowledge of Scripture and in our personal relationship with Him.

WEEK 4: TRUSTING GOD WHEN LIFE HURTS
 (Pre-read chapters 11-14)

Just as in Psalm 23, God leads us both beside still waters, and the very shadow of death. Our trust in Him enables us accordingly to keep our faith, even in the midst of painful life circumstances.

Acts 2 paints a picture for us as believers of what it looks like to be a committed part of a local church.  A collective of people who follow Jesus, we’re devoted to gathering together in community, serving one another’s needs, and growing in our faith through sound teaching.

Take your first steps toward membership on Sunday, October 13th, over lunch following our morning service. In our fragmenting world, Metro Life Church is a place to find common ground and a sense of belonging. Lunch and childcare are provided.

Coordinator:  Shane Kohout

Do you want to have a whole lot of fun while serving a lot of people?! Funtoberfest is back and it's going to be even bigger than last year! We will have trunk-or-treating, bounce houses, free food, carnival games, costume contests, and much more. This event not only brings families together for a family-friendly event but it is an opportunity for us to show our community that the churches of Casselberry are united around our love of Jesus and others.

To pull off this incredible event Metro Life Church will need over 130 volunteers provided by 7 local Casselberry churches. Which means, we need you!

We hope to share the love of Jesus in word and deed with the people who live around our church buildings. Not only will we organize an excellent and fun event but we will also seek to share the good news of Jesus. This includes our evangelism team, prayer tent, and strategic events following Funtoberfest.

We need a big showing of volunteers to make this all happen. Will you consider signing up now so we know what we can accomplish?
