We had a wonderful Sunday evening Thirst meeting. The Lord was so kind to provide us with numerous ministry opportunities, and it seems a great many people were encouraged, refreshed and ministered too in specific ways. We encountered Jesus together! If you are like me you want to bottle up those moments and just replay them over and over. The good news is that we don’t have too, because the Lord has made promises to us. He has told us that if we will seek Him we will find Him when we seek Him with all of our heart. Seeking Him with all of our heart means we are earnest and expectant. That always seems to be the difference. The great news about it is that our opportunities to encounter Jesus and fresh fillings of the Holy Spirit are not limited to a Thirst meeting. We will have more of them indeed, but what if you and I arrive expectant on Sunday morning, at home group, in a get together with others in a home, or even over coffee? The Lord is eager to fill us again and again! 10,000 blessings besides are ours for the asking! I pray that you are still Thirsty, and will seek Him this week. May we arrive on Sunday earnest and expectant. If we are, watch what the Lord will do!
