For more than 40 years, we've seen God's faithfulness at Metro Life Church. Lives changed, families strengthened, and the gospel hope shared by His grace. We are a community learning how to show God's glory in our daily lives—committed to loving God, growing together, and sharing Jesus Christ. Our approach to pastoral ministry is based on the purpose of the message of salvation and God's Word. This creates a space where sound theology and real love can coexist. We will welcome you into our church family as an associate pastoral resident. Providing mentorship, spiritual growth, and service fueled by grace will aid you on your way to becoming a senior-level pastor.
The residency program at Metro Life Church views pastoral formation as genuine ministry. Over the course of three immersive years, residents serve as integral members of the pastoral staff. During this time, they will learn how to integrate theology, shepherding, leadership, and decision-making, all while receiving close mentorship from the elders and deacons.
We want to see residents become effective whole-life pastors. This means that residents will assist individuals in everyday discipleship. We aim to do this by grounding these men in a healthy church culture, providing real responsibilities, and fostering relationally wise formation that endures beyond the residency.
