Imagine a season filled with awe and wonder that doesn’t require hustle and bustle (or even getting your tinsel in a tangle). Our creator has given us a gift in the natural rhythms of life to enjoy regular times of rest from working… the savior we celebrate coming to earth gives us a way to truly enjoy it. Join us this advent season as we consider “Sabbath: the gift of rest”. More than simply a good idea for our physical bodies, this gift ministers to our whole being: pacing our hearts, calming our minds, renewing our strength and soothing the soul. That sounds like a Christmas celebration we all long for and even try to provide for others - but this Sabbath gift is ours the whole year long!
