Joshua 18:1-10 How long will you put it off
Preacher: Chris Jessee Series: Joshua: People of God's Purpose Scripture: Joshua 18:1–10
What should I do when I know God is calling me to obey, but I keep putting it off?
In Joshua 18:1–10, Israel gathers at Shiloh, where the tent of meeting reminds them that God is present with His people. The land has been subdued, and God has been faithful. Yet seven tribes still have not moved toward the inheritance He has given them.
Joshua asks a searching question: “How long will you put off going in to take possession of the land, which the LORD, the God of your fathers, has given you?”
In this message from our Joshua series, Pastor Chris Jessee helps us consider where delay has become comfortable in our lives. God’s grace does not call us to earn His promises. It calls us to receive what He has given and respond with faith-filled obedience.
Joshua 18 invites you to seek God’s presence, stop postponing obedience, and trust the outcome to the Lord.
