Welcome to Metro Young Adults!
Young adulthood is a season of real change. College, work, friendship, dating, marriage, new responsibilities, and questions about purpose can make these years both meaningful and unsettled. You do not have to walk through them alone.
Metro Young Adults is a ministry of Metro Life Church for adults ages 18–35. We want to help young adults become deeply rooted in Christ, meaningfully connected to His church, and ready to live with faithfulness in everyday life.
Community Groups
These are the primary places for discipleship, friendship, prayer, and spiritual growth.
Fellowship Nights
Shared meals, game nights, and relaxed gatherings that create natural space for connection and welcome.
Young Adult Gatherings
Larger gatherings for worship, teaching, testimony, prayer, and encouragement.
Outreach and Connection
Intentional opportunities to build relationships, welcome new people, and connect young adults to the life of the church.
Metro Young Adults exists to help adults ages 18–35:
1) build Christ-centered community
2) grow as disciples through Scripture, prayer, and shared life
3) use their gifts to serve
4) share the hope of Christ with others
This reflects Metro Life Church’s wider mission and values: loving God and people, growing in Christ, living by the Spirit’s power, sharing the good news, and practicing grace every day.
Rooted in Scripture
The heart of this ministry is shaped by three key passages.
Acts 2:42-47
We want to be a young adult ministry marked by the same kind of church-rooted life we see in the early church: devotion to God’s Word, prayer, fellowship, generosity, and shared life. We are not aiming to build a social circle detached from the church. We want to help young adults belong deeply in a Christ-centered community.
Matthew 28:18-20
Jesus has called His church to make disciples. That means this ministry is not only about connection, but also about growth, obedience, and gospel mission. We want young adults to be formed as disciples of Jesus and equipped to help others follow Him too. Metro Life Church already expresses this same mission in its call to love, grow, and share the gospel of Jesus Christ.
1 Timothy 4:12-16
We believe young adults should be taken seriously in the life of the church. Scripture calls younger believers to grow in godliness, be grounded in truth, and become examples in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity. Our desire is not simply to gather young adults, but to help them mature in Christ and become strong, faithful disciples in the local church.
Our heart
We know young adulthood can be a season where people drift, isolate, or struggle to find their place. Our prayer is that this would instead become a season of deep roots, faithful discipleship, healthy friendship, and growing clarity about what it means to follow Jesus.
