They Gave What They Had, They Gave What They Could Do!

Dear Church,

I don't know the final total of our mission offering, but I do know through conversation and my email inbox that the LORD stirred many hearts on Sunday. Specifically, several members have communicated their desire to either get the gifts God has given them in greater service, or they want help discerning the gifts God has given them.

A monetary offering is wonderful. We can accomplish several things, like building a house in Honduras, providing an internship to a Spanish-speaking pastor from Bolivia, help construct a ministry center in La Paz, and invest in local ministries serving the homeless, pregnant women, and more. This is all wonderful! However, when we start to offer our hearts, our skills and talents; indeed our very lives, THEN the church gets built up properly! That's what I want to see at Metro Life Church! The pathway to seeing all of us Loving God, Growing Together and Sharing Jesus in greater degrees is as each part does its part. We need one another, and Sunday was a demonstration of that.

May the LORD stir you, as he did a 20 year old, who asked, "Can you please help me discern my gifts so that I can use them to build His Kingdom?" My prayer from this question is, "Jesus, thank you for that question! Please capture the hearts of all our young adults to take their place in sharing your love all around Orlando!"
