“Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward.”  Psalm 127:3

As a local church, one of the ways we celebrate family life is to thank God for His gift of children. On a regular basis, we take time during a Sunday morning service to dedicate both children and their parents to the Lord.  It's our desire that this be a memorable and meaningful time for parents and extended family able to attend.

For those who would like their child dedicated to the Lord in a home or other private setting, one of our pastors would be glad to serve your family in that way.

Membership is something to be pursued and treasured within the church.  It is not required for dedication.  Since we see child dedication as a partnership between parents and the local church, we do ask that you agree to the following in order to participate in our public dedications:

  • Be in a personal Relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Be sure your beliefs line up with the Metro Life Church Statement of Faith
  • Be regular attenders at Metro Life Church’s weekend services
  • Parents who are living together and not yet married should take steps to acknowledge and surrender to God’s plan for their relationship prior to participating in a dedication service.
I'd like to have my baby dedicated at the church
