At Metro Life Church, we wholeheartedly believe in the power of Prayer. Prayer, as one of the ordinary means of grace, is a discipline that ought to be part of the life of every believer, and it is also a foundational part of the ministry of the local church.
In his letter to the Philippians, the Apostle Paul said: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7). Which reminds us that our loving Father not only welcomes our prayers, but he also delights in our drawing near to him with our requests.
Let us know how we can pray for you today!
Prayer requests
One of the beautiful benefits of being part of the body of Christ is that we know we are never alone. We know we have a loving Father who is not indifferent to our needs, and that we are part of his family in Christ. In this family we have brothers and sisters who are ready to bear our burdens with us and lift us up in prayer in our time of need.
We would love to be there for you during your times of need. If you have any prayer requests, we want to be praying for you. Please send your prayer requests so we can be praying for you.
Member Prayer
Our staff meets weekly for a prayer meeting where they systematically pray for the members of the church and any other prayer requests that may have come to their attention.
Corporate Prayer
Charles Spurgeon once said: “We shall never see much change for the better in our churches in general till the prayer meeting occupies a higher place in the esteem of Christians.” At Metro we also believe in the importance of corporate prayer. It is our desire to pray together as brothers and sisters and to equip our members to pray in the larger context of the corporate prayer meeting.
Our corporate prayer happens every Sunday at 9:15 am in the auditorium before our weekly worship service.
