GriefShare - Surviving the Holidays

Friday, November 11, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. // Chris and Shane want to invite you to join them for a conversation on a range of hard topics. They will talk through some difficult areas, show what they see in scripture and open it up to questions. These events are specifically for young adults and families with young children but all are welcome. Pizza and childcare will be provided. You can find out more information and submit questions HERE.
Men's Breakfast - Godly Truth

Come join us for our monthly breakfast on Saturday, November 12th for our topic, "Godly truth." In 2022, if you throw a brick out the window, gravity still works - the brick falls. Even though society and culture seem to be "tossed back and forth by the waves, blown here and there by every wind of teaching" (Ephesians 4:14), the truths of God's word remain firm and steadfast. Al Kubik will be speaking on the "Goodness of the Word of God" and sharing core truths upon which we can build our lives. Al has been a Metro member for decades and speaks with wisdom and experience. Bring a friend, eat anointed bacon, and "taste and see that the Lord is God." (Ps 34:8)
Dove Tree with Christian Help

Category: Local Impact Coordinator: Shane KohoutFrom November 13th thru December 4th we will have a Christmas tree in the lobby with very special ornaments// Each ornament represents a local child in a family experiencing financial need// Please prayerfully take an ornament, shop for a gift on the card and drop the toy off on a Sunday morning // All the gifts will go to parents who have gone thru a financial program with Christian Help or have been referred by partners// These parents can then wrap the presents and give them to their children on Christmas morning.

Christmas Decor Party!

Sunday, November 13, 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. // Join us for a Christmas Decorating Party! That’s right we will be asking for a number of you to SERVE by helping us decorate the church for the Christmas season. With enough of our friends and family helping we will be able to transform the lobby and the stage into a special place filled with cheer and celebration in a couple of hours. And then we can all join together in having pizza and Christmas cookies together immediately afterwards. Sign-Up HERE!
We're having a potluck in the chapel! Bring a dish to share, a friend, and come ready to fellowship together.
We will also take communion together and hear about MYA's 2023 plans.
Light Up Metro Life Church

Join us as we gather to illuminate Metro Life and ring in the Christmas Season. More than just a night to get dressed up, or dessert reception. This is a night of envisioning through the New Year and reflecting on all that God has done through us.
There'll be some fun surprises along the way as well.
This church-wide fellowship event is for those 13 years old and up. Childcare is provided for those younger - they’ll have their own fun night!
Tickets are per individual - $10 with $25 max per family.

Giving Tuesday

We will be joining thousands of organizations around the globe to participate in the largest giving day of the year. We would love to make November 29th a day of generosity that exceeds anything we have done in the past. It will be a group effort to get there, but the impact your donations will have will be incredible. Aside from setting your own personal goals, you can make others aware of our efforts by spreading the news. We look forward to giving you an update once the day is over.
Winter Springs Christmas Parade
