Parenting In A Digital Age

Parenting is both a wonderful and difficult responsibility. Our kids didn't come with an instruction manual and somehow we were expected to know what to do the moment we left the hospital. The truth is, we are figuring this out as we go. And yet, we still have this incredible privilege to parent. Not only is that scary on its own, but now we have to navigate all sorts of challenging forms of technology. Whether we have toddlers, kids in grade school, or teenagers, they are all interacting with screens somewhere. How do we set helpful limits for our kids? What do I do when my kid is on an app I've never heard of? How do I protect them from strangers and dangerous information when they carry a smartphone?Wouldn't it be great if we could get some guidance and principles that would help us walk through this? That is why we are taking one night to explore how to parent in a digital age. Join us in the Chapel for pizza, a short presentation of principles and tools, and a Q&A with some parents who have had to wrestle through these questions too.
Registration is $5 per person (Children under 3 are free). Childcare is provided during the event. Pizza is served at 6:30 sharp.

Christmas Decor Party!

Sunday, November 12, 11:45 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. // Join us for a Christmas Decorating Party! With enough of our friends and family helping we will be able to transform the lobby and the stage into a special place filled with cheer and celebration in a couple of hours. And then we can all join together in having pizza and Christmas cookies together immediately afterward.
Light Up Metro Life Church - 2023

Join us as we gather to illuminate Metro Life and ring in the Christmas Season. More than just a night to get dressed up, or dessert reception. This is a night of envisioning through the New Year and reflecting on all that God has done through us.
There'll be some fun surprises along the way as well.
This church-wide fellowship event is for those 13 years old and up. Childcare is provided for those younger - they’ll have their own fun night!
Tickets are per individual - $10 with $25 max per family.
Neighbor To Neighbor

What do 6 local churches in Casselberry have in common? A whole lot! We have one Savior. One Spirit. One gospel. And we truly are a part of the one Church.
Neighbor to Neighbor has become a rallying point within our community where followers of Jesus come together and serve real needs. And we want you there too!
Join us as we serve households within our community that through various different situations need help with their lawn care. In one morning, we are able to renew a dozen yards within our community. It might seem like a small thing, but to the families that are in need, their neighbors, and the city, it means the world.
And, it's not a scheduling error that this event falls on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. As followers of Jesus, we have every reason to be thankful. So join us as we abound in thanksgiving and by God's grace spread it to others. It is our prayer that those we serve will be able to see the true source of our joy.
So brothers and sisters, would you consider right now if you can join us on November 18th? We will serve, alongside other local churches, by doing various yard work at homes throughout our city. And by God's grace, we will proclaim the good news of Jesus to those we serve. Would you please consider registering yourself and your family below?
Children's Christmas Production 2023

Our Children's Ministry Christmas production will be Sunday December 3 during our corporate worship. This is for ALL students in the K room through Bridge46 (6th grade). Please find attached the links to the 5 song list. If you could have these playing on repeat in the background of life over the next several weeks that would be so helpful in preparing the kids and getting them familiar with the lyrics.
Saturday, December 2 from 9-12 we will have a dress rehearsal in the sanctuary. Attire for the production will be dressy in the following colors : red, black, gold, white. Patterns are okay :)
Children's Ministry - Volunteers Needed
We are in need of volunteers to assist in our Children's Ministry classrooms once a month, once every other month, or even just quarterly when there is a call out last minute. We have a great set of lead teachers and need extra adults to come alongside them. Opportunities open in all age groups from toddler to 6th grade.
