Serve
Every Sunday starting September 5, 2021 until September 12, 2021
9:15am – 1:15pm
These first two Sundays in September, each service ministry in the church will be providing you the opportunity to learn more about the ministry and the role it plays in the church. Hopefully you will find a ministy that will utilize your gifts to serve the church and others. It will be a fun way to get to meet others and just as important to grow in the gifts God has given you. He loves to empower us to serve each other in love for the advancement of His Kingdom.
Men's Breakfast For Dinner
September 11, 2021
6:00pm – 9:00pm
Guys, join us Saturday, September 11th at 6pm - 9pm for dinner and a movie at our next Men's meeting...with breakfast for dinner. More bacon, please. We'll watch "End of the Spear" which shares the story of missionary Jim Elliott. It is powerful and action-filled. Afterwards, we'll have some discussion about what it means to lay down ourselves for Christ and to live full throttle for the kingdom. GROW: Teaching the Word
Every Saturday starting September 11, 2021 until September 18, 2021
9:00am – 11:30am
Join us on Saturdays September 11 and 18 in the Truth Quest Assembly room. The goal of this Grow class is to equip a group of men and women to teach from the word of God in different contexts. During this class we will explore the depths of the Word of God as the foundation for all teaching. We will learn how to study and interpret the word, how to use other sources during our study of the Word, and how to teach the word in different contexts.
Metro Young Adults: Field Games
September 17, 2021
7:00pm – 10:00p
Come on out to the soccer field to play games and hang out! Bring a friend and meet new people as we laugh, run and talk.
It's likely people will be kicking a soccer ball around or throwing some frisbees but feel free to bring whatever you would like to play.

Belong: Membership at Metro Life Church

Acts 2 paints a picture for us as believers of what it looks like to be a committed part of a local church. A collective of people who follow Jesus, we’re devoted to gathering together in community, serving one another’s needs and growing in our faith through sound teaching.
BELONG is a great way to get to know each other - and help you find your place at Metro Life Church.
In our time together we'll cover topics like:
- Gospel-Centered Culture: Truth - Safety - Time
- Why Belonging Matters.
- Who gives leadership throughout the church?
- Tour our facility to understand how it relates to our mission.
- A brief overview of Metro Life Church's doctrinal distinctives.
- God-glorifying Discipleship.
Our next group will meet Saturday morning, October 2nd at 10am – light breakfast will be served and childcare will be provided.
