Trial and Triumph in the Christian Life
I hope Acts 14 refreshed your soul in knowing that even though there are trials along the way, your life and mine will ultimately be a testimony to the triumphant power of the grace of God!
This post explains that 2025 giving statements were sent through PushPay and includes the letter that accompanied them. The letter reflects on a milestone year marked by guest speakers, gospel partnerships, and the launch of the ADVANCE Vision Initiatives in view of Metro Life’s 50th anniversary in 2035. It reports encouraging momentum and financial stability with roughly 92 days of operating reserves, while also acknowledging that regular giving declined about 4% below budget and fluctuated significantly month to month. Those swings affected planning and contributed to the decision not to provide cost-of-living increases for staff, even as the church remains committed to fair compensation and care for leaders and employees. The post emphasizes gratitude for the generosity already present in the church and explains how consistent giving rhythms help steward resources wisely, support ministry, and care for staff, noting that January giving is up 5%. It closes by grounding generosity in God’s provision and grace, thanking the church for giving that flows from joy rather than pressure.

I hope you all are having a blessed week! The accent from Sunday's message from Acts 13:1-3 is that we would all expect God to work in us and through us for the advance of his kingdom. What a glorious privelege!
